LEADING STARS

JCI FINLAND
NATIONAL SPRING CONFERENCE

9.-11.4.2027, Lahti

JCI Lahti will host the National Spring Conference, Leading Stars, in Lahti on 9–11.4.2027.During the weekend, everyone can be a star and together, we form a constellation.

EVERY STAR IS A LEADER,
TOGETHER A CONSTELLATION

The theme draws inspiration from the Big Dipper, seven stars that have guided travelers toward the North Star for centuries. The arc of the logo and the seven stars symbolize the Big Dipper in the same way as our theme, Leading Stars.

The seven stars also represent the 70th anniversary of both JCI Finland and JCI Lahti, embedding a hidden message of this milestone year into the logo. The colors gold and deep blue reflect dignity, celebration, and continuit, values that lie at the heart of the conference, both in leading oneself and leading others.

We invite you to discover your own light, grow as a leader, strengthen the brilliance of others, and build tomorrow together.

Welcome to Lahti in April 2027!

Sanan Säilä is the national speech competition of JCI Finland.

Local chambers organize speech competitions during their spring meetings. The winners represent their chamber at the regional level, and the regional winner advances to the national competition. The prize is a ceremonial sword. The winner continues to the European level and potentially to the World level.

The purpose of the speech competition is to develop public speaking skills and build confidence in front of an audience. In addition to supporting participants’ growth, the competition also trains judges to analyze performances and develop fair evaluation skills. These goals are achieved by encouraging and guiding participants in a supportive and respectful manner.
